Based on CPDI’s proven value decrementing technology, NetControl proprietary software allows prepaid access to the Internet from any wireless hotspot (WiFi) or ISP environment. Implementation of NetControl enables Internet Service Providers to generate an additional secure source of revenue by expanding the service and usage of their network on a prepaid basis.

NetControl utilizes RADIUS for authentication and is configured to interact with an ISP's existing infrastructure, enabling both prepaid and postpaid accounts without additional network requirements. The architecture offers low hardware and software maintenance, an extremely flexible and easy-to-use rating and administration structure, and built-in security and fraud-prevention measures.

NetControl’s desktop application provides users with real-time information regarding connection time remaining, as well as termination warning messages. For additional user convenience NetControl has the option of providing an interface to a secure site where users can view and maintain their account. Users can view their current account balance, account history, rating information, as well as merge multiple accounts and maintain account identity for seamless use.

The rating capabilities for the prepaid Internet access are powerful, flexible and customizable. Basic rates can be customized based on user time online, desired surcharges, and minimum charges. To facilitate both peak and slow access times, rates can also be configured based on a specific day of the week, day of the year, and/or time of day.

Fraud protection is of the utmost importance in all CPDI products. Service provider’s can be confident that the built-in fraud prevention measures will not only recognize and block fraudulent attempts, but automatically prevents any future access from both the identified user account number and IP address or phone number.
